MŠte tūnga | The role
A chance to work on an exciting project. You will work on the successful implementation of the field staff helpline for Census 2023. The key focus being, Collection Operations meets Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Census, without putting core production at risk.
This is a fixed term role until June 2023 based in our Auckland office, with the opportunity to work remotely or in any of our other national offices in Wellington and Christchurch, under our Collection Operations Umbrella.
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for the planning and performance of the CENSUS Field Staff Helpline. You will be responsible for business intelligence reporting, supporting our Team Manager and Senior Leadership Team, as well as our General Manager and Executive Leadership Team.
Our team has a continuous improvement focus ensuring our work is relevant and valuable, we use modern products to integrate our reporting across the business, including Power BI, PureCloud and Salesforce.
Your key responsibilities would include:
• Stakeholder management
• Business Analysis, reporting and process documentation
• Defining and documenting project requirements
• Scheduling & maintaining roster (Workforce management)
• Provide insightful analysis and technical support to the business
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve current state

• Assist with the recruitment process as and when required
• Use your technical knowledge to provide support the Data Collection team, during/after the project is completed
• Knowledge/familiarity with or a commitment to learn/understand Te Ao Maori, including ensuring opportunities at Stats NZ reach the Maori community.
• A university degree or equivalent experience in an analytical field (e.g., statistics, economics, sciences) would be an advantage.
